Cosmic Daily Planner is operated by the Cosmic Daily Planner team (United Kingdom) and the Cosmic Daily Planner team (Portugal), trading as Cosmic Daily Planner.

What we collect and why
We collect only what we need to provide you with a personalised Oracle reading. Nothing more.
The Oracle speaks precisely to your life because you choose to share your life with it. Every piece of information you provide is used solely to generate your personal readings and improve that experience.
Information you provide:
- Your name or preferred name, used to address you in readings
- Date, time, and place of birth, used to calculate your natal chart, Dreamspell Kin, and Life Path number
- Current location, used for timezone and astrological context
- Personal context you choose to share — projects, relationships, intentions — used to personalise your reading
- Your email address, used for sign-in and to send you updates you have opted into
Information collected automatically:
- Your reading history, stored to build continuity and personalisation over time
- Feedback and star ratings you submit voluntarily
- Device type and browser, used for technical debugging only
Information we never collect:
- We do not sell your data to anyone, ever
- We do not share your data with advertisers or third-party marketing platforms
- We do not use your data to train AI models
- We do not collect payment details directly — payments are handled by Stripe
Hormonal cycle data
If you choose to enter your hormonal cycle dates, this information is stored only on your device. It never leaves your browser. The Oracle receives only the name of your current phase — not the underlying dates.
This feature is entirely optional. You can use the full reading experience without providing any cycle information.
How we store your data
Your profile and reading history are stored securely in Supabase (supabase.com), a cloud database service hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). Supabase is compliant with GDPR and ISO 27001.
Reading generation is processed via the Anthropic API (anthropic.com). Your profile context is sent to Anthropic's servers to generate your personalised reading and is not retained by Anthropic beyond the processing of that request.
We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to your data is restricted to the Cosmic Daily Planner team.
What the Cosmic Daily Planner team can and cannot see
We want to be completely transparent about what we can and cannot access. Your inner life — the questions you ask, the conversations you have with the Oracle, your reading outputs — is not accessible to us. It is genuinely private.
What the team can access via our database:
- Your email address and account information
- Your profile data — name, date of birth, location, and the personal context you choose to share
- Summary-level reading history — the brief synthesis, primary priority, and moon phase saved with each reading
- Feedback and star ratings you voluntarily submit
- Your email address if you joined the waitlist
What the team cannot access — ever:
- The full text of your Oracle readings — the complete reading is generated and displayed to you and is not stored in full
- Your Ask the Oracle conversations — these are processed in real time and never stored on our servers
- Your Insight Drawer conversations — same as above, entirely ephemeral
- The specific questions you ask the Oracle about your life, relationships, or decisions
- Your compatibility reading conversations and follow-up questions
- Your hormonal cycle dates — these never leave your device under any circumstances
- Your passwords — these are cryptographically hashed and are unreadable to anyone, including us
In plain terms: we know you use the service, and we know the broad shape of your profile. We do not know what the Oracle says to you, what you ask it, or what you share with it in conversation. That exchange is between you and the Oracle.
We will never voluntarily share any of your information with third parties, law enforcement, or any other entity except where we are legally compelled to do so — in which case we would notify you to the extent permitted by law.
Sign-in and authentication
You can sign in using Google, a magic link sent to your email, or a password. Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth, which manages your session securely.
If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google. We do not receive your Google password or access to your Google account beyond basic profile information.
You can use Cosmic Daily Planner without signing in. In that case, your readings and profile are stored only on your device and will not sync across devices.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct any inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Object to or restrict how we process your data
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time

Cookies
We use only essential cookies — those required for authentication and to remember your sign-in session. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or third-party tracking cookies.
Your reading preferences and profile are stored in your browser's local storage, which you can clear at any time through your browser settings.
Children
Cosmic Daily Planner is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. When we make material changes, we will notify signed-in users by email. The date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent update.
Continued use of Cosmic Daily Planner after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
